MISSION

Facilitate collaborations and connections between academic and administrative personnel, as well as other colleges and universities, in order to assist the development of community relations through extension and outreach initiatives.

OBJECTIVES

  • Enhancing literacy in the community in line with the government's goals for having quality and accessible education.
  • Establish an institutional program that involves the community and other stakeholders in the act of volunteering;
  • Initiate community-based environmental projects and activities that seek to make locals effective partners in environmental protection;




Basic Life Support

A three-day Basic Life Support (BLS) training for lay rescuers. Led by Pateros Technological College Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PTC — DRRM) Director Prof. Ericson San Jose, the training is a crucial component of the institution’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management initiatives.Participants include PTC faculty, utility personnel, and the Student Supreme Council. The training was facilitated and was also the lecturer Mr. Mark Christian Arce R.N. (a Registered Nurse), with Pateros DRRMO (Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office), Ms. Ellein S. Salonga, team leader, Mr. Bobby P. Adora, responders, and Mr. Eric C. Samaniego, responder and ambulance driver.

The BLS training aims to equip PTC employees with the essential skills to respond effectively during emergencies. By empowering individuals to provide immediate care, the training contributes to a safer community.Trained lay rescuers play a vital role as first responders, capable of making a significant difference in life-threatening situations.
